With two shorts under her belt, one feature in the works, Risk first stepped into the directors chair for "Parlour Tricks, her first short. Also written by Risk and made with the assistance of the Bad Cookie Pictures Crew, it further bolstered Risk's interest in directing. Her second short, "Reptile House" finished production in late 2019 which has allowed her to turn her attention to co-directing the feature length film "Strip Craft" with Wilson Large
